Unless you need to use the word "personality" in the sentence, I would rephrase it as "I like industrious people." Or, "I like hard-working people." You could also say "I like people who are industrious" or "I like people who work hard/are hard-working." That this is a characteristic of their personality is implied; you don't necessarily have to use it to get your point across.

Grammatically yes, but it's no something a native Brit would say about a close friend or colleague, we would tend to say hard working. This is more formal, so might be used for a reference. Hope that helps.

Inside its own context, it is acceptable. But it sounds informal. Another kind of personality I am fond of, is industrious people
