PS.いや、c)のりんごの皮をむくときは、”注意深く皮をむく”っていうかなあ。どっちでもOKかな。この場合ね。いい質問だね。hmm。意味はほぼ同じだけど、”慎重”って言葉のほうが”注意深い”ってvocaのレベルが高いと思う。

hi,aj:)you always ask very good question.but it is difficult to answer even my 1st language is japanese.i hope the following helps you to understand the difference between "慎重”and "注意深い”. 1)the meaning of "慎重”and "注意深い” are maybe 80%-90% same. 2)how ever there are some slight difference between "慎重”and "注意深い” a)彼は、慎重にどこの大学に入り、何を主に勉強するか”慎重に”考えた。 i hope my explanation somewhat help your japanese.good luck to you,aj.:)

The meanings of 慎重(shinnchou) and 注意深い (Chuuibukai) are quite similar, but not really. The way of how to use the words is also different. For example, you can say "Chuuibukai hito "(careful person). We don't say Shinchou hito. We put "na" after shinchou to make it adjective. So, it goes like this "shinchou na hito." Drive carefully is "Shinchouni unten suru." Listen carefully is " chuuibukaku kiku." I hope those examples help you.
