どんな means what kind, for example どんな人 means what kind of person, どう means how for example どうでしたか how was it or 金曜日はどうですか how is friday. It wouldn't be how as in how do you get to school, どうやって would be better. どれ means which as in an actual thing but is used as a noun. どの is the same as どれ but it is used with another noun like どの本, which book but どの is used on it's own. I'm just a student but this is my understanding of it.
