Which one is correct? A or B?
A. "Liz is away on holiday" "Is she? Where HAS SHE GONE?"
B. "Liz is away on holiday" " Is she? Where HAS SHE BEEN GOING?
(In this exercise I have to choose between present perfect simple or continuous)

A is correct. B would only sound right if the statement suggested that the event had happened multiple times, i.e. "She keeps leaving", "Does she? Where has she been going?"
