Why is "you" alone?
I have a question about a song "My Everything" by "Owl City".
In the lyrics, a man swears for running to his loved one at his turning point as below.
When my hope is lost
And my strength is gone
I run to you and you alone
I could not understand why "you" are alone?
He runs to "you", so , I think "you" are not alone.
Could you explain?

He does not say "you are alone", but "you alone". Here "you alone" is another way of saying "only you". He runs to no one else - only her.
