what's the difference between "Das" and "es"?
Das gefällt mir gut! - es gefällt mir gut!
das habe ich nicht verstanden! - ich habe es nicht verstanden!
ich habe es gesehen! - ich habe das gesehen!

Use as in English:
das = this/that
es = it
Das gefällt mir. = I like this/that.
Es gefällt mir. = I like it.
etc.
