Following on from Manuela's answer here is a site which has graded readers http://www.eslfast.com/ Try to find stories or texts on subjects you are interested in, you will be more motivated to read.

My advice is using graded books. If you read a book that is too difficult for your current level of English, you can easily get frustrated. Also, graded books often include a glossary with tricky words. Finally, some conjunctions can be confusing, so you may want to use a dictionary to find out their equivalent in your own language.
