Is there a difference between "I need to..." and "I have to..."?

Hi,
The difference is quite small, but there is still a difference.
Have to - describes an obligation. For example, "I have to be at work at 9am every weekday."
Need to - describes something that is necessary to achieve a goal. For example, "In order to lose 20kg, I need to exercise and eat healthily."
Hope this helps!

I would say that there's no real difference between the two.
