When I look for a Spanish tutor, I look for someone that I like as a person, doesn't speak ridiculously fast, explains well and above all LISTENS TO HIS STUDENTS. Too many tutors prepare lessons without even asking their students what they want. I always love it when a teacher asks me whether I want to work on something special or just do conversation.
