How to translate 'tap into' in this sentence?
Skilled work is increasingly concentrated in high-rent metropolitan areas, so many young people are tapping into their parents' bank account. In this sentence, could you explain the Chinese meaning of 'tap into' to me?

I assume you are looking for a Chinese translation of "tapping into". If so, you could use: 取出,掏出,拿出
literal translation: 很多年轻人就从父母的账户掏钱
meaningful translation: 很多年轻人就让父母提供资金
Hope this helps.

"Tapping into" appears to be derived from the act of taking alcohol from a wine barrel (or something similar, like tapping a maple tree for syrup).
In your sentence example, it just means "depending on something" for livelihood, like children drawing money from the parent's account (because it is expensive to stay in the city).
In Chinese, "tapping into" has no direct translation, but the meaning is to 靠父母银行账户来维持生计.
