¡Hola! How do I say "Why would that make me happy?" in Spanish?

Hi Michelle. I know this question is a bit old and you thought it was totally resolved, but to translate that sentence into Spanish, I would say: ¿Por qué iba eso a hacerme feliz? I can´t think of any situation where I would say ¿Por qué me haría eso feliz? or something of the kind. It strikes me as unnatural. However, if you are asking someone you could use it: "why do you think that would make me happy?", ¿Por qué crees que eso me haría feliz? Maybe you happen to hear it like that, but with my friends and family, if we were to say that sentence I am sure anyone would do it as I have told you. I hope this helps you sound more natural and native-like.
