get punished or get punishment? Which is more natural in English-speaking countries?
I'm Chinese. Here's a sentence,"If any student cheats, he ore she will get ______(punish)". Use a proper form of "punish". The suggested answer is the first option, while several of my students want to choose the latter. Which phrase is used more often?

The correct answer is "punished." There's also a typo in that sentence: "ore" should be "or."

They are both correct. The message will be conveyed either way. But for a more natural sounding sentence, I would use, "If any student cheats he or she will get punished" Hope this helps!
Have a great day =)

Both are correct. "get punished" sounds better.
