switch jobs/ change jobs
Hi greetings. I wonder if "switch jobs" just means to change a position at the same organization while "change jobs" refers to jump into a different company. Is there any other difference between them? Thanks

I don't think there is a precise distinction. But changing jobs could be more open-ended, as in getting a new job. Switching could be more of an exchange, as in swapping with someone else, or just moving into a position in the same organisation, like you said. Perhaps someone else can explain this better. But the difference is pretty subtle.
