Najbolje nagađanje bi mi bilo na engleskom: His children are 5 and 2 years old, respectively. Ali nisam baš siguran. Hvala vam unaprijed na pomoći!

Odnosno in your example means respectively, as you rightly guessed. It is not "more exactly".
