ㅗ and ㅓ
I'm learning Korean and these two vowels throw me off a bit. When listening, it can be hard to tell them apart.
ㅗ Sounds more like 'o' as in 'so', right?
ㅓWhat is the best way to get theㅓ sound right?
Thanks,
Hannah

ㅗ is more like the "o" in hope (short, not drawn out like it is in "so")
I find ㅓ sounds like the "aw" in saw, law, etc.

1. pronounce 'ㅏ'
2. keep the lips the way they are, and try to pronounce 'ㅗ'

Also 어 has a little more of a nasal sound.

That's a great help.
