What is the difference between stable and steady?
The two words confused me with the similar meaning of not moving or shaking. What is the difference between them? Is there any easy approach to grasp it? For example, I know I need to say "stable price", but why not use steady price?

steady: Dynamic adjectives. For instance, there is a steady increase in stock market.
stable: Static adjectives.A stable family.
