None of them are wrong, but none of them sound very good either.
Since you are an advanced student, I'll give you some advice on style. It often sounds weak to put a list of three contrasting adjectives before a noun. If you wanted to engage the attention of the reader, you could say something like this:
"I am going to tell you an old, scary, but interesting story. It all started...."
I have contrasted "scary" and "interesting" and this makes the narrative more attractive.
