Donde versus Adonde What's the difference between these two words? They both mean "where" right?

Si las dos se traducen por "where" "Adonde" expresa dirección , lo usamos con acciones como ir, viajar,venir...Y "donde" no expresa dirección. El lugar adonde vamos, está cerca Espérame donde me dijiste Espero haberte ayudado, un saludo.

Adonde is where in the sense "to where" or "whereabouts". Donde is more general "Where"
