What do "legacy" exactly mean? Someone may use legacy graphic to describe some old machines with old graphic card and in BIOS setup, we can see legacy boot up or EFI boot Can I use legacy account as account applied before?

When a product is updated, an old version which is still available can be called the legacy version.

Question: What *does* legacy mean? This differs from backward compatibility but when a product is updated but an old version is available it is called the legacy version. You can also use legacy mode so that your computer system, component or software applications can support older software, data, or behaviour. This differs from backward compatibility because it is a sacrifice of newer features or performance. Do you wish to enable legacy boot?
