HOW TO FORM THE PAST POTENTIAL (JAPANESE)
Could someone please help me confirm if this is how you create the PAST POTENTIAL form of these verbs:
Godan verbs (ends in う、つ、る、く、ぐ、ぶ、む、ぬ、す)
え+た
え+なかった
え+ました
え+ませんでした
ex. 遅れた
Ichidan verbs (ends in いる or える)
られ+た
られ+なかった
られ+ました
られ+ませんでした
ex. 開けられた
I've been looking online but can't seem to find it - all I see is the present potential form.
Thank you so much in advance!!
ありがとうございます!
