If you are simply thinking of "so" and "such" as intensifiers then there is no difference in meaning but there is a difference in how you use them. It is like this: so + adjective; such + a + adjective + noun EG: I saw Messi play in Barcelona last night. He is so good. or: I saw Messi play in Barcelona last night. He is such a good player.
