Assalamu alaikum,
I've heard on Youtube this word تين pronounced both "tiin" and "tayn", is that so, or I'mwrong and the pronounciation is only one of these? Shukran

طين = mud
تين =fig
both could spelled same but ط spelled something ت another spell

Thank you very much, maybe I heard wrong, I just wanted to make sure the pronounciation would not change from country to country.

Wa Alaikum Assalam. I don't know what was the video you were watching but obviously whoever was talking pronounced it wrong. The word تين which means (Fig) has only one pronunciation which sounds like the English word (Teen.)
