How do I pronounce the single r in Italian?
I've read that it can be pronounced as either a short trill or almost like a d sound. Again, my question is should the r be slightly trilled or flapped like in Spanish when the r is between 2 vowels? I've listened online and I can't tell.

The R in Italian is trilled on the alveolar bridge or a little further ahead, everything else is a corruption of the correct pronunciation.
