Nice to have seen you
Hello, Everyone
To a friend,I wonder whether "It was nice to have seen you" is a completely correct expresion instead of “nice seeing you” used at the end of a conversation as I am about to go my separate ways :D
Thanks very much in advance

They're both right but the first one is a bit wordy, in my opinion. I'm of the mind that "It was nice seeing you" is a more natural way of saying it.

Both are fine, just the 1st is more formal.
