Hey guys, now i practise translating spanish to korean.
in the novel, 'partió el animalote ; la patrona se dej'o caer en la silla ~~'
I have no idea what means 'partió el animalote´

In English it would be "cut the big/huge animal" "animalote" is the superlative of animal. If it still doesn't make any sense then your phrase most be wanting to say something else.
