what's to use for the word clean? - pinyin
Hi, I see many words (as verb and adjective) that all mean clean, but are very different.
I wonder what are the differences?
And what would be more common to use?
I saw used shoushi, qingli as verbs, and dasau and ganjing as the adjective - am I correct about the distinction here?
for instance:
his room is clean
he is cleaning his room
I'm cleaning my house
Thanks much

his room is clean
干净的 - ganjingde, it means the room is free from dirt.
he is cleaning his room
打扫 - dasao, If you clean something or clean dirt off it, you make it free from dirt
I'm cleaning my house
打扫 - dasao, If you clean something or clean dirt off it, you make it free from dirt
people around me tend to use "打扫 - dasao" when you clean your room or somewhere, "收拾" is also okay.
