Hello,
The meaning of the expression "adoro você" depends on WHO say it! :-)
If your friend say "Eu adoro você!", it means he or she likes you very much, they admire you, they have good feeling about you and you are important for them. HOWEVER, it doesn´t mean he or she loves you!
Another example, sometimes the brasilians use the expression "adoro você!" when they want to show their deep admiration for a person like a singer, an actor, an actress BUT they don´t LOVE these persons. They like and admire them!
If someone has strong feelings for you and he says "Eu adoro você!", PROBABLY he wants to say "I love you!" or "I love you very much!"
Therefore, when someone say "Eu adoro você!" the meaning depends on WHO say it.
I hope I have been clear! :-)
