¿Andar con rodeos?
¿Puedes alguien por favor explicarme lo que significa "andar con rodeos"? Lo encontré en esta frase de mi libro:
-- Está loco -- la cortó Rick --. No te andes con rodeos.

Significa evitar el tema principal de la conversación, el tema importante del que se está hablando, mientras que tratas otros temas; de ahí lo de "rodeos", porque se pasa de largo lo importante.
En inglés lo llaman "To beat about the bush". Espero que te sirva de ayuda.

Andar con rodeos es no ir directo a lo que en verdad importa. Como decimos acá: "no ir directo al grano", "no decir las cosas exactamente como son".

"Andarse alguien con rodeos" es no decir o hacer las cosas clara y directamente. En inglés vendría a ser "to beat around the bush"
