what is you favorite song in japanese?
I realized that the best method for me to learn another language is by listening. I learned english by listening song and watching tv. So now i want to learn how to speak japanese by listening to songs and watching Japanese dramas.

I really agree with you. Learning by listening song is the one of the great and enjoyable way.
Speaking of your question, I don't know music genres...but I like something energetic, cute and make me happy.
So if you like these kids of songs...I'd recommend you Satomi' . She's really cute and has a beautiful voice.

I'd heard she has sung at a gospel church in us or somewhere not japan. She has a really strong voice! Amazing!

Quite a lot of Miyavi's songs. I love him, and his attitude. And he changes quite a lot, so if you don't like one song, chances are you may like a different one.
I guess it would depend on what kind of English music you like though, for me to help you find Japanese music you like.
