They are mandrin contained little local accent.But everywhere will have some local accent just like the case in your own country.

Well, welcome to Nanjing.
I am local here, but I don't speak Nanjingese at home. Just sometimes at school.
Acturally I think it depends on the people you touch. I used to live in the university area where is also the center of foreigners here. The people here don't really speak Nanjingnese.
Also it's not hard and not much different from standard mandarin. Just they mix "sh" and "s", “n” "m" and "ng" sound, and some different intonation

It is more little than Shanghai,but it is a city that has a long history,you can find that many places in Nanjing are very beautiful!
