What's the difference between "une pièce" and "une chambre"?

Une pièce is generally used to designate any ROOM in a house/building
Chambre is mostly used for Bedroom, but sometimes it means a room in general, (like pièce) but it is rare.

Une chambre, c'est une pièce (un endroit) pour dormir.
Une pièce, c'est plus général. Une pièce peut-être la cuisine, le salon, la chambre, la salle de bains ...
