Could anyone please tell me if my sentence is correct? Thanks. SENTENCE: He [WAS DRIVING] at high speed when the brakes of his car [FAILED]. If he [HAD NOT BEEN DRIVING] at high speed, he [WOULD HAVE SURVIVED] even though he [CRASHED] into the other car. QUESTION: Are the tenses in capital letters correct? Is my sentence grammatically correct?
