Korea is a developed country. The growth rate of economy was over 10% for 30 years from 1970s. The world rank of economic power is around 10~13th. The high speed development ended around 2000. The growth rate is less than 5% nowadays as other developed contries.
Lots of high tech products are produced and exported abroad. Manufactoring (shipbuilding and automaking) and IT electronics business is very strong. Samsung alone is bigger than sum of all major Japanese electronics.

usually we hear the term 'developing country'. If we say an area is 'developed' that means the wilderness has been cleared and there are buildings and streets. I think that is too small a scale to talk about the whole country.
'Developing' means growth has happened and is still happening. 'Developed' means growth has happened and has stopped. Is Korea still growing? (I think so!)
