わかりたい?
I’ve been told you cannot say in japanese わかりたい... instead you could say わかるようになりたい
And I accepted it as fact. But while I was watching Violet garden
She said 君の心をわかりたい
And I read somewhere else 君をわかりたい
Is it possible because we are talking about feelings?
Am I missing something?
Have a nice day

Somone who told you so is wrong.
You can say 分かりたい.
There is no reason 分かりたい is wrong syntactically.
