French or German?
I have a problem with the choosing of my second foreign language. These two languages are similar for me. I mean that I don't need them for work, study or smth. I wanna learn them just because I like it. Of course I want to know both of them one fine day, but what should I study first? Tell me about advantages and disadvantages, if you are able to. I'm from Russia, if it matters. Also I want to ask you for some helpful resources where I can study the language you recommend me.

I'd advise French as knowing it it'll be easier in the future to learn Spanish and Italian. German might help to learn Dutch but in my opinion Spanish is more useful as the number of people speaking it globally is much higher.
