What is the best way to say "i hope" in japanese? Like: I hope you like it/ I hope he is ok

I usually say ”〜だといいな。” when I talk to my friends.(It's a very casual expression.)
I hope you like it. →気にいってくれるといいな。
I hope he is ok →無事だといいな。 / 元気だといいな。
Or you could say "〜だとうれしいです。/ 〜だといいのですが。" to sounds more formal.
I hope you like it. →気にいってくれるとうれしいです。
I hope he is ok →無事だといいのですが。/ 元気だといいのですが。

I think the best way is to say the pattern "するといいです."
元気であるといいです。 - I hope he is fine.
お口に合うといいです。 - I hope you enjoy the meal.
