Se dice "paraguas".
y la diferencia es que con la sombrilla consigues cubrirte o protegerte del sol , o estar en la "sombra". y con el paraguas te cubres o proteges de la lluvia, del "agua".

the object is the same... those words are synonyms. the difference is the use. if you use the umbrella to cover the sun you can call it "sombrilla" or if you use to cover the rain "paraguas"
