Is ㄹ pronounced differently from a word to another ? I am a little bit confused about ㄹ, because sometimes I hear it like L and sometimes like R. And if it is pronounced in a different way, is there a rule for that?

At the beginning of the word 'ㄹ' is 'r'. At the end of the word 'ㄹ' is 'l'. If at the end of first word is ㄹ and the consonant of next word is ㅇ then 'ㄹ' of first word sounds like 'r'. If at the end of first word is 'ㄹ' and consonant of next word is ㅎ then 'ㄹ' sounds like 'r'. e.g. '랑' is 'rang' , '일' is ' il' , '일은' is 'ireun', '일하다' is 'ir hada' hope it helps :)

Hello, I also recently decided to start learning Korean. I may be wrong, but the letter ㄹ reads like" R " at the beginning of the word and between the two vowels. At the end of the word or before a consonant reads as "l". P.S. I'm soooo sorry for my mistakes in English
