match, match with, match to
Hello! What preposition should we use after the verb "match"?
For ex,
Match the letters with the numbers.
OR
Match the letters to the numbers.
Which one is correct? Is there any difference?
Also, are there any cases when we don't need to use preposition after match at all? What about this sentence?
This dress matches these shoes perfectly.
Thank you!
