What is the difference between "así que" and "entonces"? Can I use them the same?

There is not really a big difference, they're all synonyms of 'therefore' , 'and thus', 'so' , 'then', etc.

You could actually use these interchangeably they're more of transitions in the conversation. These words can used as the English equivalent of "therefore."
