Do you often say "We can bet on that!" ?
Hey guys,
Can you tell more about the usage of "bet"
if give some phrases or dialog will be much better,thank you !

Hello Linky,
The expression " we can bet on that" means :
We can count on that or depend on that.We can have confidence in that.
Example:
- " He is too late , I am afraid he won't come".
- He is usually punctual . He will come surely . You can bet on that.
Other uses of "bet":
- a sum of money risked on a certain event such as horse races for example as in stake and gamble:
I bet a fortune on that horse .
- to choose by considering different probabilities:
I bet he won't be able to come
