IN THAT CASE, MIND PUTTING IN A WORD? WHAT DOE'S THIS MEAN?. It means to speak for you, to say something nice about you. We use this very often to ask someone else to speak well of us. Often regarding getting a job. "he is ok, he won't let you down"
