What is '5x'?
It is said that Jonathan Brandt was the 5x Featured Analyst at Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Shareholders Meeting. What is '5x'? What does 'x' represent?

X is the symbol used in mathematics to mean "multiplied by", but colloquially in English we say "times".
5x2=10 (Five times Two equals Ten)
So he's just saying he has been the featured analyst five times.

You should read it as "5 time" even though it says "5x". It means he was the featured/best analyst at the meeting 5 times. If it's an adjective then 5x is 5 time but if it's a noun then 5x is 5 times
