Correct but too wordy because you are translating it directly... Translation by meaning 欲望早日我国能发达

Hi , friend, I can't understand the role of the prepositional phrase in some complex satuation. Could you tell me how to understand the role of the prepositional phrase? In your sentence , I knew the part "as a developed country ..." worked as attributive, but if sentence become more complex, then I can't figure out.
