There are 3000 English teachers and tutors. None of them have openings?

I think you need to select/toggle the 'Instant Tutoring" button if you've chosen the "Now" option in Availabilty , otherwise you'll get no results.

You can only book teachers in advance. From memory it won't let you book today. Maybe you are looking too soon? When I look, I see lots of teachers with lots of time.. I'd guess the standard lessons do that so they have some time to prepare and arrange their day.
