Do "Does it hurt?" or Are you hurt" sound more natural here?
A girl is kicking a sandbag during boxing practice
A: Ow! (really painful)
B: You ok? Does it hurt? / Are you hurt?
A: What's in the sandbag?
Which one sounds more natural?
Thank you.

The most common is "Are you OK?"
"Are you hurt?" is definitely correct as well, but it might feel a little formal depending on context.
"Does it hurt?" is also natural, but it would be in reference to a specific body part or motion.
I hope this helps!

They have slightly different meanings.
"Are you hurt?" means "Are you injured?" ( The word 'hurt' is a past participle here)
"Does it hurt?" means "Is it painful?" ( In this case, we would need to know what 'it' is).
