Mandarin: Asking if someone slept well Hi, How would I ask someone if they slept well or if they had a good night's sleep? Would it be 你睡好了吗?If not, how do native speakers normally ask this question? Now, what are some ways to say you did indeed have a good night sleep? 睡得可香了?睡好了?What other ways are there? Thank you.

Of course, one can ask "昨晚睡的怎么样。“ One can also use the verb 休息 (rest) instead of the verb 睡. (您昨晚休息的怎么样), especially when the person you are having the conversation has a higher social status with you. A another colloquial way of answering the question(especially in the north where I come from) is 睡的很沉(I had a sound sleep).
