How to pronounce 'Cicucium'?
Well, I know it is the name of an ancient Roman fort located in Brecon, right? Is it an English word or Latin word? How to pronounce it? Could you show me the phonetics please?

I'd guess that in general, English tends to pronounce Latin words as they should be pronounced/ as in Latin, not altered.
.
Well when I was a lad, my latin teacher told me that C is soft like the first one in circle, not hard like the second one in circle.
Hence cicero sounds like sisero.
.
But she said that "church-latin" generally used the hard "c", so cicero sounded like Kikero, I guess.
.
Perhaps one of the few things I lerned in Latin class :(
So, maybe the answer is both ways, depending on where you are.

Latin name: Nowadays, we say Si - Coo - see - um. We don't really know if that is how it was pronounced way back when.
