In a dating context the correct answer is "You're my type."

You can say, "my type is..." or "my type is typically".
Note that if someone asks you this question exactly, they are asking what kind of person you would usually date, or your ideal date. If you want to ask someone's type of anything else, you must explicitly state so. For example:
"What is your blood type?"
"What type of food do you like?"
