It’s the same as English “I was born”, only in German, they use “werden” instead of “to be” to form the passive voice. The word order is “Ich bin geboren” in a main clause (Hauptsatz), but in a subordinate clause (Nebensatz), the conjugated verb (wurde) goes at the end. Note: “werden” is also used to form a future tense (with the infinitive instead of a passive participle). Werden can also be a main verb, meaning “to become”.
